Superb Queen Anne Welsh Oak Bureau Bookcase
A Superb Queen Anne period Welsh oak bureau bookcase.c.1710. Primitive design with beaded trims and standing on the original bun feet. Quarter sawn timbers with cross banding to the edges. Good fitted interior with swept pigeon holes and small drawers set back, sliding well to the centre. Fielded panels and moulded cornice to the bookcase top, adjustable fitments to the interior. Two short over one long drawer with period brass fittings. Small proportions, outstanding colour and patina. Measures 36" x 21" x 73"high. stock no.25763.
