Superb Regency Pollard Oak Tea Caddy
A superb quality large Regency pollard oak country house tea caddy with original fitted interior c.1830. Pollard cut burr oak veneered exterior with chamfered edge caddy top sat over a concave sided base with small bun feet. The hinged lid opening to reveal an original fitted interior with pollard oak veneers to match the exterior. Two compartments sat either side with removable caddy top design lids for storing the tea; centre section with removable glass blending jar. Superb rich colour and original patina and in excellent condition throughout. Measures 15.5" wide x 9"... deep x 8.5" high. Stock number 40828.
