An outstanding quality framed Royal Worcester porcelain plaque depicting pheasants in a woodland setting by highly regarded artist James Stinton c.1908. The oval porcelain plaque superbly painted in typical Stinton style with two pheasants emerging from a wooded bank on an early summer morning. Wonderful detail and colours throughout; signed by the artist to the bottom left. Mounted in the original swept timber gilt frame with matching oval gilt mount. Boarded back with the puce Royal Worcester factory mark showing to the centre and indicating a date of manufacture of c.1908.... Bears the original retailers label and presented in immaculate perfect condition. Measures overall 15" wide x 1.25" deep x 11.25" high. Stock number CS378.
