A superb original signed L S Lowry print 'Mrs Swindells Picture' with gallery stamp for a limited edition of 850 copies signed by the artist c.1967. The original painted for Lowry's long serving house keeper Bessie Swindells and presented to her in recognition of her years of service. Depicting Albion Mill and St Marys Church, Swinton in the distance along with figures in the foreground that make this work instantly recognisable. This original print being one of a limited edition of 850 with the Fine Art Guild stamp on the lower left and signed by L S Lowry to the margin on the lower right.... Set in a quality hand finished timber gilt and satin black frame with museum glass and in immaculate condition ready to hang. Measures overall including the frame 23.5" wide x 2.5" deep x 28.75" high. Stock number CS374.
