An unusual and superb quality George V period solid silver and crocodile skin stamp, pen and note rest by Levi & Salaman, hallmarked Birmingham 1923. The quality silver casework with two section stamp box to the rear, hinged lid with two view windows displaying stamps and a gilt lined interior with dished compartments for holding the stamps. Dised section in front of the stamp box to rest a pen on. Sloping section in front with crocodile skin inset for writing a note on. Original red leather underside. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Levi & Salaman along ...with clear hallmarks to all sections. Heavy quality and presented in immaculate condition. Measures 2.75" wide x 5.5" deep x 1.5" high at the stamp box. Stock number tba.
