Superb Silver Thistle Top Paper Knife Set with a Moonstone

A fine quality George VI engraved silvered thistle top paper knife inset with a moonstone, hallmarked Birmingham 1937. The long tapering angled edge blade with an engraved cast silver thistle forming the handle. The thistle with complementing decoration in the manner of McIntosh and is inset at the end with a large polished moonstone. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Joseph Cook & Sons along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition.
