A superb quality small proportioned Victorian carved oak aneroid banjo barometer with porcelain dial and skeletonised movement. c.1880. Well carved case with superb original patina and rich colour. Visible skeletonised movement with dished porcelain decorative dial sat behind bevel edge glass with a brass bezel and centre reading marker. Matching scale to the mercury action thermometer. Maker's name C.S.S.A of London to the dial. Excellent condition, full working order. Measures 26" long x 8" maximum width x 2.5" deep. Stock Number 34089.
