Superb Small Early Oak Three Panel Coffer

A superb small proportioned George I period three panelled coffer C.1725. The three panelled top with stop moulded frame sat over a matching three panel base. Diamond carved decoration to the panels and carved relief to the doweled frame. The hinged top with original hook and eye hinges, opens to reveal a clean interior with panelled back. Superb original colour and rich patina. Measures 38" wide x 19" deep x 20" high. Stock number 35442.
