A superb quality small proportioned George II period figured oak three drawer open pot board dresser with wonderful mellow colour and original patina c.1740. Planked top sat over a three drawer base with panelled ends to match the drawer fronts. The drawers sat in a pegged jointed frame; each drawer with figured timbers and moulded edges, plus decorative brass fittings. Moulded rail sat below the drawers with three turned column supports above a planked open pot board. Original stiles below the base rail forming the feet. Superb original mellow colour and rich patina throug...hout, presented in excellent original unrestored condition. Measures 54" wide x 16" deep x 31" high. Stock number 42705.
