Superb Victorian Embossed Brass Log Bin with Copper Band
A superb Victorian solid brass log bin with embossed and engraved detailing and a copper logo c.1880. The circular solid brass bin with deep embossed copper band below the rim and a band of copper rivets sat below. The sides of the bin embossed with to panels depicting farmyard scenes surrounded by complementing embossed and engraved scroll work decoration. Two large lion mask handles with ring drops sat to the sides and cast brass claw feet to the base. Superbly detailed throughout and presented in excellent condition. Ideal as a log or stick bin or as a planter.
