Superb Pair Of Victorian Gilt Bronze Cherub Candlesticks
A superb matching pair of Victorian gilt bronze candlesticks with cherubs to the stem and acanthus leaf design decoration c.1880. Each candlestick with broad bases decorated with acanthus leaf decoration rising to meet the column above. The columns with three cherub set back to back at the base of the stem with flared acanthus leaves above. Broad sconce above with rope twist decoration to the rim and urn shaped candle holders to the top decorated with swags. Both candlesticks superbly detailed and presented in immaculate condition with the original gilt finish. Diameter measurement quoted i...s at the base.
