Superb Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Oval Tray
A superb quality late Victorian inlaid mahogany oval tray with polished brass gallery and carrying handles c.1885. The oval solid mahogany tray with fine decorative inlaid fruitwood and boxwood flower and vine design boarder to the outer edge which is set against a Ringwood background. The centre of the tray with fiddle back mahogany veneers and large satinwood Sheraton design shell inlay set to the centre. Polished brass gallery to the outer edge with cast brass scrole design carrying handles to either end. Presented in immaculate original condition with a rich colour and patina.
