A superb quality and difficult to find decorative fruitwood inlaid mahogany tailors stick c.1880. The stick originally used for turning the cloth off a roll, this decorative example with turned handle and square tappering stem. The handle half fruitwood and half mahogany, the face of the stem inlaid with fruitwood and boxwood in a chequered effect, and the edges. A difficult to find item, superbly detailed throughout and presented in immaculate condition.
