A superb late Victorian brass framed hall lantern with the original coloured leaded glass c.1900. Octagonal form with brass frame and fretted apron to the base and top. Tubular brass supporting frame with engine turned finish above the lantern, plus supporting tube to the original brass ceiling mount. The leaded glass in tones of amber and greens forming a stylised flower repeated to each panel, wih sections of red and uncoloured vaseline and crackle glass surrounding the flower motif. Presented in original condition as purchased; wiring or polishing of the frame can be carri...ed out for a small extra charge if the purchaser wishes. The hanging tube can also be removed to reduce height. Measures as shown 51" drop from rose to base of lantern x 33" high from base of lantern to top of supporting frame x 19" lantern height x 13" wide x 13" deep. Stock number 43210.
