A superb quality Victorian brass cased marine barometer with silvered dial, skeletonised movement and crescent thermometer c.1875. The polished dished brass case with hanging loop to the top, engraved silvered scale with original mercury action crescent thermometer set to the lower half. Skeletonised visible aneroid movement to the centre, sat behind a glazed view window with central reading marker. Bears the makers name Watson & Son, High Holborn, London (w. 1873-81) stamped to the back of the case. Presented in excellent condition, fully working and serviced.
