Superb Late Victorian Silver Corinthian Column Table Lamp
A superb heavy quality Late Victorian solid silver Corinthian column table lamp by Mappin & Webb, fully rewired ready for use, hallmarked Sheffield 1898. The weighted stepped base with gadrooned decoration, square mount to the centre with country house crest. Slightly tappering reeded column above with Corinthian mount to the top. Nickle plated switched lamp holder and mounting to the top. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded silversmiths and retailers Mappin & Webb along with clear hallmarks. Presented in excellent damage and ware free condition, cleaned and fully rewired with... silver coloured silk covered flex and fitted plug.
