A superb quality Victorian carved timber silver gilt over mantel mirror in excellent original condition c.1880. The oblong frame with arched top, which is clipped to the corners. The inner edge of the frame with leaf design carved decoration, floral swags sat over the mirror to the top corners and scroll design pediment with Prince of Wales feathers to the centre. The original silver gilt finish in superb original condition with excellent clear period mirror glass and secure fitting for wall hanging to the rear. Measures 55.5" wide x 36" high to top of the pediment. Stock number 43256.
