A superb William IV period leather upholstered library chair C.1835. Well carved and shaped mahogany show frame with serpentine front to the overstuffed seat, upholstered in quality hide. Matching deep buttoned back forming a very comfortable sear. Sat on reeded legs with original brass and porcelain castors. Excellent condition. Measures 27" wide x 24" deep x 28" high to top of the back. Seat height 17.5".
