Superior Quality 1920's Geographia 10" Globe on Mahogany Pedestal
A superior quality 1920's Geographia 10" paper mache terrestrial globe on weighted mahogany pedestal. The 10" paper mache globe in excellent unfaded and clear condition, sat in a brass axis allowing the globe to revolve with brass disk to the top showing degrees. The axis mounted on an elegant tall turned mahogany column with broad turned foot to the base, which is weighted for stability to the underside. The globe bears the makers label for Geographia, Fleet Street, London. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich patina.
