Superior Quality 1920's Geographia 10" Globe on Mahogany Pedestal
A superior quality 1920's Geographica 10" paper mache terrestrial globe on weighted mahogany pedestal. The 10" paper mache globe in excellent unfaded and clear condition, sat in a brass axis alowing the globe to revolve, brass disk showing degrees to the top. The axis mounted on an elegant tall turned mahogany column with broad turned foot to the base which is weighted for stability to the underside. The globe bears the makers lable for Geographica, Fleet Street, London. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich patina.
