A superior quality mid Victorian golden oak pedestal desk with original turned knobs and superb colour and polish c.1875. Moulded edge to the top with oak surrounding the quality tooled dark green leather writing surface. Three drawers sat over the pedestal and knee hole. Each pedestal with three graduated drawers and original turned knobs; the drawers with deep moulded edges giving a paneled effect. Mahogany drawer linings. figured polished timbers to the sides and to the back to allow for free standing. Apron foot with moulded upper edge, small concealed castors under to aid moving.
