A superior quality late Victorian solid polished silver photo frame with decorative ribbon design crest to the top and fretted easel stand to the rear, hallmarked Birmingham 1896. Plain polished silver surround with chamfered inner edge and cast silver ribbon design crest to the top. The silver face returning around the sides to meet the original blue velvet back with matching hinged fretted silver easel stand and top rail. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Edward Mander & Sons along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superbly made and presented in immaculat...e condition. Takes photograph 3.75" x 5.25" Measures over all 4.75" wide x 6.75" high. Stock number 42534.
