A superior quality Victorian turned and carved solid walnut cased aneroid barometer with decorative porcelain dial, fully serviced and working c.1890. The broad turned walnut case with petal design to the outer edge and panelled beaded carving to the inner edge. Aneroid movement sat behind a decorative porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge. Bevelled edge glass view window with central reading marker mounted in a polished brass bezel. Presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 8.25" diameter x 1.75" deep.
