A superior quality Thames Valley yew wood Windsor chair with fretted centre splat and crinoline stretcher c.1820. Bentwood back and arm rail with matching bentwood arm supports below. Fretted centre splat with unusual turned bullseye to the top typical of the maker Prior of Uxbridge, sat over the arm support. Moulded ash bell shaped seat with lined edge, turned legs below supported by a bentwood crinoline base stretcher.
