A Top Quality 19th Century gilt ormolu French mantel clock.c.1860. Silvered engine turned dial to the 8 Day Paris made movement. Striking on the hour and half to a bell. Made by highly regarded maker, James Grohe of Paris (w.1832-81). Convex glass to the back showing the movement(ideal if you have a mirror behind). Foliage decoration to the case. Original gilding. Nice compact size measuring 8.5" x 4.25" x 12"high. Full working order.
