Top Quality Victorian Oak Manchester Stick Barometer
A Top Quality Victorian solid oak cased stick barometer made by Joseph Casterelli of Manchester(w.1852-96). Bone inverted scales with double vernier marker to the mercury tube. Matching bone thermometer scale to the centre. Bevelled edge glasses to both. Shaped top pediment and carved rosette to the cistern covered base. Full working order. Measures 7" x 3"deep x 41"long.
