An unusual Edwardian Chester silver table top card, stamp and vesta combination with Reynolds angles design decoration, hallmarked Chester 1902. Sloping top with hinged opening, match striker sat below the lid lifting to reveal a dished gilt lined interior for storing stamps or matches. The front section falling forward with matching gilt lined interior for storing a pack of cards. The lid, front and sides decorated with Reynolds angles embossed decoration. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded silversmiths Nathan & Heyes. Superb quality and presented in immaculate condit...ion. Measures 4.5" high x 2.75" wide x 2.25" deep. Stock number 39059.
