An unusual Edwardian aneroid barometer with broad turned chinoiserie decorated case and engraved brass dial c.1910. The broad turned hardwood casework with black Jappaned finish with is superbly decorated with Chinoiserie decoration and gilt relief. Engraved brass dial sat to the centre with weather predictions to the outer edge. Glazed view window mounted in a polished copper bezel, reading marker to the centre of the glass. Superb quality and condition, fully serviced and working.
