Unusual Edwardian 'Football' Cast Iron Stick Stand
An unusual Edwardian cast iron stick stand with footballer to the rear and superb original painted finish c.1904. The cast iron frame with superb detail and quality of casting throughout; footballer to the rear in period kit with hat and tan leather ball. Cast lettering to the top saying 'Footballer' with removable drip trays to the base and brass finials to the front corners of the top rail. Mahogany brown painted finish, the footballer in blue top with white long legged shorts. Registered number to the rear indicating a year of manufacture c.1904.
