Unusual Edwardian Inlaid Mantel Clock

An unusual Edwardian lyre shaped inlaid mantle clock with 8 day French movement c.1900. The solid mahogany lyre shaped case with fruitwood and brass inlaid case, the movement unusually sat at the lower half of the case. 8 day French movement with platform escapement sat behind a porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel sat over the top. Presented in excellent condition, the movement fully serviced and working.  Measures 5.5" wide x 3.25" deep x 12" high.   Stock number 42418.
