An unusual George V ladies silver cheroot case with inset powder compact to the lid and engraved decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1921. Oblong form with slightly domed sides along with rounded edges and corners. The front of the case with inset circular domed top powder compact, which is decorated with leaf and bow swags that are repeated either side of the lid; polished finish to the rear of the case. The compact section opening to reveal a gilt lined interior along with inset mirror to the hinged lid. The cheroot section of the case opens with a catch release and contains a gilt finish i...nterior with original cigar retaining strap. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmith Samuel Levi along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition.
