An unusual Edwardian period solid Chester silver candle dowser by collected maker Sampson Mordan, hallmarked Chester 1905. Long tubular stem with mouthpiece to the top to blow through and flat flared open end to the tip to plase near the candle when blowing out. Bears the makers mark for Sampson Mordan along with clear hallmarks. An unusual item, superb quality and condition. Measures 12" long x 1" diameter at the mouthpiece x 0.5" wide at the flat tip.
