Unusual Edwardian Silver Ace of Spades Vesta Case
An unusual Edwardian Chester silver vesta case with ace of spades decoration to the front, hallmarked Chester 1903. The silver case slightly domed to the front, with rounded sides and corners, hanging loop set to the side and match striker to the base. The front of the case embossed with an ace symbol to the centre and smaller matching ace's set to each corner which are adjoined by an engraved cross. The surrounding infills engraved with complimenting decoration, and the rear of the case decorated with scrole design decoration. The snap top lid opening to reveal a clean interior. Bear...s the makers mark for Rolason Bro`s a along with clear hallmarks. Superbly detailed throughout and presented in immaculate unused condition.
