A Very Small George II period oak cased 'Cottage' longcase clock.c.1750. Brass and silvered engraved dial to the 30 hour movement. Date aperture and gilt spandrels to the corners. Made by Westmorland maker, Massam of Kirkby Lonsdale. Moulded cornice and turned columns to the hood. Shaped top to the case door. Very small proportioned case. Superb colour and patina. Stands 73"high. Full working order.
