A fine quality Victorian fruitwood swagger stick with engraved solid 15ct gold mount to the top inset with a ruby to the end c.1890. The slender circular fruitwood stem slightly tappering towards the top, gold ferrule to the end. The top of the stick finished with a 2" long floral engraved 15ct gold mount, with the bulbous end inset with a faceted ruby. No hallmarks, but tested as gold, superbly made and detailed throughout. Presented in immaculate condition.
