A late Victorian carved oak chain link design cased aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement c.1900. The solid polished turned oak case with unusual carved chain link decoration to the rim. Skeletonised visible aneroid movement set to the centre with enamel dial, sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and in full working order. Measures 8" diameter x 2" deep. Stock number 38382.
