A quality Victorian champeleve enamel and green marble desktop thermometer C.1885. The gilded brass frame with sturdy back stand, the outer frame to the front decorated with colourful champeleve enamel. Green veined marble panel to the centre, engraved silvered scale with the original mercury action thermometer in full working order. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 7" high x 3" max width. Stock number 36542.
