A late Victorian solid silver hinged top tea caddy, hallmarked Chester 1898. Bellied sides with inverted corners and a sweep around with embossed floral decoration joining the claw feet set to each corner. Flare rolled rim to the top with peaked lid, flame torch style finial to the top forming the handle. Opens to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine, includes original velvet leathercloth presentation case. Caddy measures 4" wide x 2.5" deep x 5" high. Stock number 37686.
