A Victorian deer antler and silver plate country house dinner gong on oak plinth c.1890. Oak plinth with moulded edge forming the base with silver plated mounts supporting the deer antlers set to each side. Horn and silver plate ridding whip set across the top to support the heavy quality silver plated gong. The edges of the horns mounted with silver plate and decorative shield for initials to the base. Matching original striking hammer. Presented in immaculate condition with a mirror finish to the gong. Measures 14.75" wide x 9.25" deep at the base x 24" high. Stock number 38249.
