A superb Victorian solid oak cased aneroid barometer with porcelain scale and skeletonised movement c.1890. Intricate oak wood carved decoration to the edges and each corner of the case with a stepped circular decoration to the centre dial. Skeletonised aneroid movement with porcelain dial, which includes coloured lettering marking the weather predictions. The dial is sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with a centre reading marker. Fully overhauled movement, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine.
