A late Victorian turned polished oak cased aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement by Dixon & Hempenstall of Dublin c.1900. Turned figured oak case with polished brass hanging plate to the top. Visible skeletonised movement set to the centre of the case with enamelled dial sat around the edge, all behind a glazed view window with central reading marker, sat in a polished brass bezel. Bears the makers label to the top of the case, fully serviced and working. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 6" diameter x 1.75" deep. Stock number ...39540.
