Victorian Engraved Silver Propelling Pencil

A Victorian engraved silver propelling pencil with an inset amethyst to the top, hallmarked Birmingham 1897. Decorative engraved slim hexagonal stem with decorative flared finial to the top inset with a faceted amethyst to the top. Nuckle to the centre that slides to extend the pencil for use. Bears the makers mark for Francis Webb. Immaculate condition. Measures 3.2" long closed x 4.2" long open 0.35" wide at finial. Stock number 34298.
