Victorian Figured Walnut Stationery Box
A Victorian figured walnut domed top stationery box with fitted interior and decorative brass trimmed exterior c.1880. Figured walnut veneers to the exterior with freeted and engraved brass fittings to the box front and to the domed lid, plus complementing brass escutcheon and handle to the lid. The hinged lid opening to reveal an original fitted interior with divisions to hold paper, letters, envelopes and pen tray to the front. Presented in immaculate condition with a rich polish. Measures 9" wide x 5" deep x 6.25" high. Stock number 42242.
