A Victorian silhouette portrait of a Gentleman in the original ebonised timber frame c.1880. Painted on paper with superb detail in black with the detail in golden yellow giving a three dimensional effect. Sat in the original ebonised timber frame with oval picture window, gilt mount to the edge and original convex glass. Oak leaf and acorn gilt brass hanging loop to the top. Inscribed to the rear with the frame makers name Smalls & Hipkiss, and presented in excellent original condition.
