Victorian Framed Silhouette of a Lady
A Victorian silhouette portrait of a lady in the original ebonised timber frame c.1885. The oval portrait painted on paper with superb detail, the majority in black with the ladies lace bonet in white with a pale blue silk ribbon bow. Sat in the original ebonised timber frame with oval picture window and gilt mount to the original convex glass, plus oak leaf and acorn gilt brass hanging loop to the top. Original pen and ink inscription to the rear. Presented in excellent original condition.
