Victorian Framed Silhouette of a Lady
A Victorian silhouette portrait of a lady in the original ebonised timber frame c.1885. The oval portrait painted on paper with superb detail, the majority in black with the ladies lace bonet in white with a pale blue silk ribbon bow. Sat in the original ebonised timber frame with oval picture window, gilt mount to the original convex glass; oak leaf and acorn gilt brass hanging loop to the top. Original pen and ink inscription to the rear. Presented in excellent original condition.
