Victorian Fusee Dial Clock
A Victorian solid walnut cased 8 day English dial clock by Dowling of Bath; fully serviced and working c.1885. Slender moulded surround to the dial, with matching back box, which has access doors to the movement to the base and right hand side. Painted dial with Roman numerals and the makers name 'T Dowling, Bath', all sat behind a hinged glazed view window with polished brass bezel. The 8 day single fusee movement with anchor escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and polish to the case.
