Victorian Gilt Brass Mirror Back Wall Sconce
A Victorian cast brass mirror back wall sconce with original water gilt finish and bevelled edge mirror glass c.1885. The heavy quality solid brass frame with decorative lion mask to the top and cast decoration to the mirror frame. Triple arm candle sconce set to the base, each arm with complimenting decorative castings, candle holders set to the ends. Excellent original quarter plate mirror glass and original water gilt finish. Brass plate covering the mirror to the rear along with hanging loop to the top. Presented in excellent original condition with a deep shine. Measures 22" high... x 9" wide at the mirror back with 12" maximum width x 6" deep at the candle holders. Stock number 38996.
