A Victorian brass cased Grand Sonnerie striking 8 day French carriage clock with porcelain dial in superb condition c.1885. The polished brass case with oval view window to the top and bevelled edge glass to all four sides, hinged carry handle to the top and apron foot to the base; hinged door to access the moment for winding to the rear. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands and subsidiary alarm set dial below. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement and repeating quarter Grand Sonnerie striking on two gongs.
