A top quality Victorian inlaid walnut tambour front file cabinet with fitted interior and working lock and key c.1900. The solid light walnut cabinet with moulded edge to the surface and railed gallery to the back, sat over panelled sides and back. The tambour fall front with kingwood banding to each slat, repeated matching inlays to the back and side allowing free standing. The tambour front falling to reveal an original fitted interior with six pull out trays each with matching moulded front forming a handle. Blue baized interiors, each taking a file or A4 paper. Original working lock and... key and decorative polished steel handle. Presented in immaculate original condition with a deep shine. Measures 46" high x 19" deep x 19.5" wide. Stock number 38740.
