A quality late Victorian oak cased rope twist design border aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement, fully serviced and working c.1890. The broad solid figured oak case with carved rope twist design to the outer edge. Skeletonised aneroid movement set to the centre surrounded by a porcelain enamel dial with the makers name Reynolds & Branson Ltd, Leeds. Bevelled edge glass cover sat over the top, mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Measures 6" diameter overall with a 3.75" diameter dial x 2.25" deep. Stock number 43102.
