A late Victorian brass cased ships bulk head marine barometer with white porcelain dial by Barkers of Kensington, fully serviced and working c.1900. Deep polished brass case with securing flange to the rear, original turned oak plinth with hanging mount sat behind. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat over the aneroid movement. Cast brass bezel with inset glass and reading marker knob to the centre. Bears the makers name John Barker & Sons of Kensington to the dial. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Measures 11.75" diameter... with an 8" dial x 3.5" deep. Stock number 41079.
